StorePilot ("we", "us") is operated by Eugenu Kay Kit, an independent developer based in Malaysia. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and your rights under the Malaysian Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).
Information we collect
- Account details — your name, email address and password (passwords are stored securely hashed, never in plain text).
- Business data — store name, locations, products, stock movements and team members you add.
- Technical data — basic information needed to keep the service running and secure (e.g. session and request data).
We do not collect payment card details, and the barcode scanner processes camera images on your device only — no video or photos are uploaded to us.
How we use your data
- To provide and operate the app (sign-in, inventory tracking, reports).
- To keep your account and data secure.
- To respond to your support requests.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Where your data is stored
Your data is stored using Cloudflare's infrastructure (databases, storage and edge network). Data may be processed on servers outside Malaysia as part of this infrastructure, with appropriate safeguards in place.
Data retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account or ask us to remove your data, we will delete it within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it by law.
